Very Smart People Are Aggressive Learners

If you can’t accept the idea that aggressive learning will help you be a very smart person, what can you learn from John Shook’s example in the photo above? John, Chairman and CEO of the Lean Enterprise Institute (www.lean.org), is taking notes as Niklas Modig (www.thisislean.com) makes his presentation to the recent Lean Construction Institute Congress. Also listening intently and sitting on the other side of John is Greg Howell, no slouch himself. My interpretation: even the most knowledgeable people in the world in their chosen field are always find something they can learn to make themselves more knowledgeable.
