Working in a Lean way needs to become habitual. One effective method, in addition to daily huddles and a daily review of promises made and accepted, is participating in a short daily discussion centered around your current project and a selection of Lean topics. PLUS: Daily calls help keep the team focused on their Lean efforts; Topic selection looks at many different aspects of Lean behaviors; Daily calls open up dialogue that often extends beyond the 20 minutes allotted for the call.

DELTA: Find a time that works for everyone, everyday; The coaching needs to start earlier in the project.
