Lean Lunch Introductory Session Plus-Delta

People new to Lean want to jump right into the tools. Before doing so it is important to understand fundamental Lean concepts. This 90-minute session discussed Respect for People, Flow Efficiency, and Continuous Improvement.

Plus: Participatory demonstrations; Lunch; Team open to learning; Graphics in slide deck; “This is Lean” medical antidote.

Delta: Improve the work zone; Provide some advance background material; Pre-open boxes of pens; Separate sessions for participants of varying Lean proficiency; Have people in firm with Lean proficiency share their experiences.
