A Passion for Personal Responsibility

img_3743There are people in football stadiums today who will take personal responsibility for their role in helping their team win the game. They will feel they need to yell loud enough to disrupt the opponent’s offensive plays, and that their team may lose the game without this support.

It’s a little silly to think that being able to yell and cheer when needed is anywhere near as important as the years of training and week of game preparation by the coaches and players on the field – that it really made a difference. But if we can capture the passion behind the yelling and cheering, and use it to power our work through the rest of the week, then we can make a tremendous difference in the lives of our colleagues, customers and communities.
